How to Change the Email Registered with Your Apple ID

If you signed up for BYDFi using your Apple ID and enabled the “Hide My Email” feature, the system will automatically generate a relay email address (e.g., [email protected]) to forward messages from BYDFi to your primary Apple ID inbox.

However, if the forwarding is not set up properly or if Apple blocks the emails, you may not receive important messages like verification codes or campaign notifications.

📬 Alternative: Check Your Forwarding Settings

Before requesting a manual email change, you can try checking whether the Apple relay email is correctly set up to forward messages to your primary inbox.

How to Check Forwarding Settings:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

2. Tap your Apple ID profile at the top

4. Find BYDFi in the list ➡️ Tap Manage “Hide My Email”

5. Tap Forward To to see which email address is currently set to receive forwarded messages

If your forwarding is set up correctly, the system will send verification codes directly to the forwarded email address.


🔧 How to Change Your Apple Relay Email

Since Apple’s private relay email cannot be modified manually, please contact BYDFi customer support with the following information:

  1. Your UID (can be found in your account information)
  2. The Apple relay email linked to your account (e.g., [email protected])
  3. The new email address you wish to use (make sure it can receive emails properly)
  4. A photo of you holding a valid ID, along with a handwritten note that reads: “Request to change BYDFi email + [Date of request]”

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

2. Tap your Apple ID profile at the top

FAQ

Q1: Why can’t I change the email myself?

Apple’s relay email is not an actual email address owned by the user, so it cannot be verified by the system. Therefore, a manual review is necessary.

Q2: Will changing my email affect my account or assets?

No. This update only changes the email used for communication. It does not affect your assets, account information, or trading history.
